• Pool Type: Indoor heated pool
• Attendees: Non-Members are welcome
• Changing Facilities: Locker rooms available
• Viewing Area: Ample space on deck to view classes. Please do not hover over classes or coach your child unless the instructor has asked for your assistance.
• Photos/Videos: DCC does not allow pictures or video of any kind (including video phone calls – Facetime calls) while on the pool deck.
• Footwear: Please remove your shoes before entering the pool area. You can be barefoot or wear water shoes, Crocs, slides, or sandals.
• Uniform: Swimmer should bring towel and goggles and bathing caps if the swimmer has long hair. Also should have flip fops for the pool deck.
• Swim Attire: Anyone getting in the pool must wear a proper family oriented bathing suit or swim trunks. Outdoor clothing is not allowed in the pool (basketball shorts, crop tops, cotton shorts or biker shorts). Rash-guards are acceptable.
• Showering: Anyone entering the water MUST RINSE OFF before entering the pool.
• Lifeguards: Anyone on the pool deck must follow any directives given to them by lifeguards.
• Food/Drink: No food is allowed on the pool deck. Water only is permitted and must be in a plastic bottle or thermos. Glass or open containers are not permitted.
• Swim Diapers: Children under 3 MUST wear 2 swim diapers. A disposable under and a reusable over. All children will be checked prior to entering the pool. If your older child is not completely toilet trained, they must also wear swim diapers.

Please note that instructors are subject to change. Things do happen where an instructor gets sick, is unavailable, or even leaves the program. We reserve the right to make changes either temporarily or permanently.

• Classes that we cancel will be rescheduled during makeup week (following the end of the session)
• We do not provide refunds. If you cannot attend the lesson, at best we will credit your account for the unused portion of your tuition provided you let us know well in advance. If you simply stop attending and expect a refund or a credit, you are holding a spot from another student and we will neither refund you nor credit you after the fact.

In the case of bad weather, including thunderstorms, you should call our office at (475) 309-4309 or call the Danbury Community Center at (203) 456-1413 and ask for the Pool. They will have info on any schedule delays or cancellations.
